It’s with great excitement and gratitude that I share some personal news with you—I’ve recently embarked on one of life’s greatest adventures: motherhood!
Lincoln Nicholas Meyer was born on September 15th, 2023 and changed our world in an instant. I am still amazed at how such a tiny human can have me wrapped around his little finger from the moment I first laid eyes on him and held him in my arms.
I remember when I was a little girl, all I could think about was being “just like my mom” when I grew up. She had it all together and wore motherhood so gracefully- while raising five children. She quit her job to stay home, a sacrifice that I never fully appreciated until now. While I admire my mom’s decision to put her career on hold, I have found that I still have a strong desire and passion to serve others as well as my husband and Lincoln.
Balancing these roles has been both challenging and amazing. I am incredibly thankful for my amazing team who filled in for me while I was on maternity leave and even now as I navigate a “new normal” of working while also being a Mom- my greatest calling. I am also thankful to have a career that allows me to bring him with me to work! I truly have the best of both worlds.
Becoming a mother has been an incredibly humbling, rewarding, and transformative experience for me. The joy, love, and sense of fulfillment it has brought into my life is something I cannot even begin to put into words. Every day presents new opportunities for growth, laughter, and cherished moments with my little one. God is so good.
